£45 + VAT - Initial one hour private consultation with each party to discuss and assess the case - at the Calm Talk offices
£45 + VAT - additional one hour private consultations at the Calm Talk offices
£225 + VAT - half day mediation session with both parties ( 2 staff members ) at the Calm Talk offices
£405 + VAT - full day mediation session with all parties ( 3 - 6 staff / team members ) at the Calm Talk offices
Full day and half day sessions away from the Calm Talk offices are charged at 45p per mile for travel expenses.
Meeting room hire - The client is responsible for sourcing, booking and organising payment for venue hire for sessions away from the Calm Talk offices.
There are no hidden extra charges. These are the total fees, not per person.
Most companies should expect their staff to attend a half day session. A full day session is needed when the case is complex or there are 4 - 6 people involved in the dispute. In some cases a second half day session may be necessary after each party has had time to reflect and return with the aim of reaching an agreement.
In some cases the Mediator may recommend counselling by one of our associated specialist practitioners prior to any joint meetings.
In some cases parties may choose to use one of our independent Advocates to assist and talk on their behalf during the joint meetings. The additional charge for an Advocate is £30 per hour + VAT.
Payment can be made by Cheque or bank transfer.
Community Mediation - public consultation and engagement
£225 + VAT - Half day public consultation or small group mediation session ( up to 4 hours ) one mediator
£405 + VAT - Full day pubic consultation visiting members of the public in their homes or public meeting rooms ( 4 - 8 hours ) one mediator
£405 + VAT- Half day - large public meeting facilitator and chair person ( up to 4 hours ) - two mediators
Full day and half day sessions away from the Calm Talk offices are charged at 45p per mile for travel expenses.
Room hire - The client is responsible for sourcing, booking and organising payment for venue hire away from the Calm Talk offices
Additional services if requested
Advocacy - £30 + VAT per hour per party - An Advocate can be allocated to each party to offer support, speak on their clients behalf and assist them to make choices during the mediated sessions. The Advocates offer assistance but not advice.
Mediation fees - Our mediation prices and pricing structure is based on single cases. Please give us a call for a tailored quote for longer term contract projects.
